We blessed Eden on July 6th. We were blessed to have lots of family join us. Austin's brother, Spencer came with his wife, Rachel came from El Paso to spend the holiday weekend with us and attend the blessing. My mom, sister, Janel and brother, Rex attended as well as Austin's grandparents and his Uncle Mike, Aunt Khris, cousin Ryan and cousin Scott with his wife Becca and two daughters. The blessing was beautiful. With each child I am amazed at who they are and their potential, and as such I feel the weight of my calling very heavily when I hear them blessed. The one thing that stuck out to me in her blessing was that she would share/bring many people the gospel. She's a wonderful baby and a true blessing to our family. After sacrament we went back to my mom's house for brunch. We had a great time visiting, but no one had more fun than the little girls. They played all over the house and ended the day in complete princess attire.
It was so nice to have you over tonight and share our news! ;) Eden is just so precious and perfect; I am so excited to have another little one. I look forward to keeping up with your blog. You have the cutest family and you are so much fun. I feel so blessed to know you.
She is so beautiful, and how proud her sisters are! I really understand that you feel blessed, I feel the same way! Girls are wonderful :-) Give all of them a big hug from me, Eva
I was sympathizing with Autumn about all the boo-boo's she had on her legs. I told her that when I was little, I used to have bruises all over my legs. "Why?" she asked. "Because I used to run into things" "Why?" "I guess because I was clumsy." "No, I think it was when you were blind." "Blind?!" "Yeah, before you got glasses." "Oh, right."
One night, Autumn made a super-hero costume out of old pajamas. Aspen, not to be out-done, came running into the living room in her panties shouting "naked hero!"
Aunt Janel told the girls they couldn't watch TV in her room because her TV wasn't "hooked-up." Aspen promptly informed her that her daddy was a good "hooker."
While following Austin down the hall, Aspen told him he was a "Hot Man."
After explaining to the girls that we were having leftovers for dinner, Aspen asked "When are they coming over?"
"Mom! You cut my best pickin'-nose finger too short!...It's O.K., I can use another one."
After shopping at what Autumn calls "Teenage Maxx," the clerk told us to "Have a good night." Aspen replied, "I not going night-nights."
While playing with a friend, Autumn said with complete sincerity, "I collect princesses because I believe in princesses."
After reading a book about a duck that grows up and comes back home with her own family, I asked Autumn is she would come back and visit me after she grows up. She agreed and said, "Well, you can come and pick me up. You can get directions from my website."
